Benefits of Massage and Facial Therapy:
Massage therapy uses hands-on techniques to assess and treat musculoskeletal dysfunction, providing therapeutic relief, reducing pain, and supporting overall health. Benefits of massage therapy may include decreased muscle tension, stress reduction, improved circulation and lymphatic drainage, and increased mobility.
Facial and buccal massage, also known as intra-oral massage involves working with the deep muscles of the jaw using manual lymphatic drainage and sculpting techniques (gloves are worn during intra-oral treatment). This therapy can be supportive for those experiencing jaw tension, teeth grinding, migraines, headaches, and sinus concerns.
Stress often manifests physically in the body, contributing to chronic hypertonicity and discomfort. Common areas of tension include the upper back, neck, hips, and jaw. By addressing these regions through a somatic approach, we can support a more harmonious connection between body, mind and spirit.
